• impaired liver function, especially severe renal failure or cirrhosis;
• diseases that develop priapism, including leukemia, myeloma and sickle cell anemia;
• a severe form of hypotension or hypertension;
• various heart diseases, including unstable angina, arrhythmia in a dangerous form and heart failure.

If the patient has experienced a stroke or a myocardial infarction, then in the next six months the drug should not be used. Also, Viagra is not assigned to children. The simultaneous use of this drug with nitrates and donators of nitric oxide is strictly forbidden. Viagra should not be prescribed to men who are contraindicated in sexual activity.

Overdose

Studies have shown that with the overdose of Brand Viagra, the side effects were more evident in patients. In this case, symptomatic therapy should be used as a treatment. Dialysis is not effective because the active substance actively and rapidly binds to blood plasma proteins.

Side effects

The drug is well tolerated. In some cases side effects were observed from:

• central nervous system (insomnia, dizziness and increased muscle tone);
• cardiovascular system (hot flashes, headache, vasodilation);
• musculoskeletal system (joint and muscle pain);
• organs of the gastrointestinal tract (nausea, diarrhea, dyspepsia);
• skin (rash);
• sense organs (conjunctivitis, impaired vision, increased light perception, change in color perception);

Respiratory system organs (respiratory disorders, pharyngitis, sinusitis, rhinitis, nasal congestion, respiratory tract infections); genitourinary system (frustration of the prostate gland, infection of the urinary canals).

Of the other side effects, flu symptoms, back or abdominal pain were noted. There were rare cases of priapism.
